Jasmine is talking in full sentences. In Florida she picked up our phone in the hotel and said, “Hello, I have a question.” Every time she gets an injury she says, “Grandma did it". During one of the recent snow storms she said, “Hang on mommy” when we were driving.
My mom tells me often, with a chuckle of course, how I have my hands full with her. When she sets her mind to something there is no changing it. Her 2yr check-up was a couple of weeks ago and the doctor had her weighed twice because he didn’t believe she could weigh 30 lbs. He was surprised because she doesn’t look chunky she is just think and strong. It usually takes two of us to wrestle her into a high chair at restaurants. Your heart melts though when she says peeasse and bats those bright blue eyes. She is every independent, everything is, “I do it.” She is her big brother’s shadow. She will try anything and everything he tries - slides, rides, phrases, moves, etc.

Happy 90th Birthday GG!!!
We bought GG a jacket in Disney World that said 09 since she turned 90. Kadin said the best day of his life was this weekend when he got to meet a bunch of his second cousins at GG’s Birthday Party. Jason and I wondered where the trip to Disney rated and if we should have just had a party with a pool and called that good for Spring Break.

Back from Disney World! What a trip . . . . the long and short of the story is it was fun but way too crowded. Kadin loved Space Mountain, the big roller coaster at the Magic Kingdom. I didn’t really care for it. It was dark, jerky, and other roller coaster cars were going at the same time and it seemed we may crash into them. Not my cup of tea! Our whole family loved Mickey’s Backyard BBQ at the Fort Wilderness Campground. It was a huge shin-dig with a stage, band, and dance floor. We ate, danced, and laughed a ton that night. Jasmine loved meeting Minnie Mouse and even gave her a kiss on the nose. Unfortunately, Jasmine was turned away from quite a few rides due to her height. She is such a go-getter and loves rides that we should have waited another year and she could have gone on everything. Her dad took her on the kiddy roller coaster and she refused to get off. They only went on it once because the line time was over 90 minutes!
Jason and I are wondering if kids of this generation are as into Disney World as we used to be?

Happy Birthday Jazzy J!
Today is Jasmine’s 2nd Birthday. We are celebrating at our house with a Wordworld Party. She is fascinated with this PBS show that has animal characters made out of the letters that spell their name. Daddy made her a pinata with dog, sheep, duck, and pig on it (Wordworld Characters). It was a great day with family and friends!

Kadin Ogren, Attnorey At Law. Mr. Ogren will be representing the Lion in Weld District Court today. The Lion is on trial for laughing at the mouse in The Lion and the Mouse Fable.
Kadin was selected by his teacher to perform at the real courthouse and in front of a real judge. There were only three kids selected from his class to perform and selection was based on her performed best during rehearsals.
Kadin did great. He spoke loud and clear into the microphone for a packed courtroom. He is usually shy, but I think he overcame that fear today! He was extremely handsome in his shirt and tie. The judge even commented how he looked like a lawyer.
