Today Kadin finished his second full day of school and loved it! Frontier trailed two full days, instead of five half days, this week. I was worried that Kadin would not like it because he always says how he enjoys coming home around lunchtime. He said it was great because they had three recesses and two snacks. I still got the same answer when I asked what he learned today, “I don’t remember".

Jasmine is keeping us all in line. She tells her daddy, “no, no daddy, not funny". Or she will try to get Kadin out of bed in the morning by saying, “open eyes, get up now Kadin". She always wants to do things herself, “I do it".

Kadin, Poppy, and Great Grandpa went to the Monster Truck Show today. They had fun even though it was extremely noisy even with earplugs. Kadin thought it was just okay. I was worried since a little boy was hit with a piece of flying metal a few weeks ago. I think the best part was the three boys spending the afternoon together just hanging out!

Super Bowl Sunday. We spent today at my friend Lisa’s house. She had a little get together at her house in the country. Kadin decided to dive into a raspberry bush and his hands, arms, and chest were covered in little holes and scratches from the bush. It actually looks like he has a horrible case of the chicken pox. I wish I would have taken a picture because it is pretty hard to believe.

Jason took Jasmine to get her first haircut today. She did great. It must be a girl thing because Kadin screamed during his first haircut. She pointed to her hair and said “cut” the whole day. She looks at herself in the mirror now and says “cute".
