Kadin’s kindergarten class had their holiday party today. Jasmine enjoys these parties just as much as her brother. And Kadin is so sweet to his sister. He always gets an extra chair for her so she can sit with him at his desk or he lets her sit on his lap. When we take Kadin to school she says, “coul". She loves going to “coul” with Kadin and acts like such a big girl. Pictures will be posted on our website of the “coul” party.

Jasmine and I joined a local MOPS (Mother of Preschoolers) Group. It is just down the street from our house at one of the churches. Jasmine and I go a couple times a month for 3 hours. One of the ladies that lives in our subdivision is my groups “mentor mom” which means she did MOPS years ago when her kids were little.
Jasmine is still enjoying gymnastics. She goes every Wednesday for 30 minutes. She has swung with a harness, walked a 2 feet high balance beam, and has no fear jumping off blocks that are 3+ feet high. She is a go-getter, very little phases her.

Kadin performed in his first primary school holiday concert. He loves to sing and enjoyed performing for us. My favorite song was Mr. Grinch. I’m sure when the kids are in college and I miss them I will watch this video a hundred times. I actually like watching “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” now because he sings along and adds in the movements and facial expressions. It’s great!

Happy Thanksgiving. Today we celebrated the holiday at Jason’s sisters. She lives in Colorado Springs. All of us, my mom, grandma, Jason, Kadin, and Jasmine, piled in the car for the little road trip. All went well on the road until my mom decided to use lavender mint oil for her headache. Poor Jasmine was crying and coughing for 20 minutes. (Just teasing mom.) Next time warn us prior to applying :-).
We had a wonderful time with Jason’s mother, father, brother, sister and her family. Kadin and Cousin Julia played for hours and enjoyed every minute.
Jason’s mother and sister made a wonderful turkey dinner with all the fixings.

Kadin scored 4 points today in his game!
My mom, Kadin, Jasmine, and I went to a play put on by Frontier High School, called Honk. It was about the ugly duckling. Both kids enjoyed it. Jasmine sat for 2 hours and watched, and Kadin made it through the entire play - 3 hours.
